Terms of Service

Welcome to Kinectyd. These terms are an agreement between you and Achdus Management, LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Kinectyd (“Kinectyd,” “we,” “us”). By using kinectyd.com, the Kinectyd apps, or a Kinectyd account, you agree to them.
What Kinectyd is
Kinectyd is a connection service for older adults: one-button video calls between residents of senior living communities, their approved family and friends, and, through Kinectyd at Home, elders living on their own. Staff tools help communities introduce residents and watch for isolation.
Accounts
- Residents sign in with credentials issued by their community. Residents never need an email or password.
- Staff accounts are provisioned through their community and may only be used for that community’s residents.
- Family and at-home accounts require accurate information and an adult (18+) account holder. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity on your account.
The approved-contact circle
Residents can only be reached by contacts their community’s staff have approved. Do not attempt to reach a resident you are not approved for, share your access with others, or misrepresent who you are. We remove access, without notice, to protect residents.
No recording
Kinectyd does not record calls, and you agree not to record, transcribe, or capture calls made through the service without the clear consent of everyone on the call. Florida law requires all-party consent to record conversations.
Not medical care, not for emergencies
Kinectyd is not a medical device, does not provide medical care or advice, and is not an emergency or monitoring service. If someone is in danger or needs urgent help, call 911 or your local emergency number. Staff alerts in Kinectyd are informational tools for communities, not a safety guarantee.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Kinectyd to harass, abuse, exploit, or defraud anyone, especially elders. Don’t probe, disrupt, or reverse engineer the service. Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to share.
Communities and pilots
A community’s use of Kinectyd is governed by its written agreement with us, which controls over these terms where they differ. Community data belongs to the community; we use it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
Kinectyd’s software, design, and brand are ours. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use the service as intended. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation.
Ending service
You may stop using Kinectyd at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or puts residents at risk.
Disclaimers and liability
Kinectyd is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise uninterrupted or error-free service, including video quality that depends on your network. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes
If we update these terms, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use Kinectyd after a change means you accept it.
