Warmth in every conversation
Friends down the hall shouldn’t stay strangers. That’s why Kinectyd’s here.
Kinectyd helps assisted living residents become real friends: one-button video calls anyone can use, one-tap introductions for staff, and a morning heads-up when someone’s drifting into loneliness. It’s vital human connection, right down the hallway.
Built for residents with memory loss, tremor, or zero patience for technology, and for the social workers who look after sixty of them at once.
One CSV from PointClickCare or any spreadsheet, names and room numbers only. Kinectyd creates every profile, prints a PIN card for each resident, and your whole community is onboarded in an afternoon.
Kinectyd suggests the pairings, the lonely resident and the warm caller, the two who’ve never made a call, and schedules their first conversation by itself. Each resident’s screen shows their friends’ faces, with a green dot when a friend is around right now. One tap, and they’re face to face.
Every night Kinectyd scores each resident’s isolation risk from real connection, calls made, friendships formed, check-ins answered. Every morning your team gets one email: who needs attention, why, and what to do. No dashboards to remember. No data entry, ever.
You don’t need to be good with computers. Your screen shows the faces of people who’d love to hear from you: the friend from bingo, your daughter, your grandson. Tap a face, and you’re talking.
Most residents use the tablet their community set up. On your own computer or phone, sign in with the community code and PIN from your Kinectyd card. No passwords, no accounts, no settings.
Resident sign inThe loneliest resident in your building is surrounded by dozens of potential friends. Kinectyd introduces them, and hands your administrator the numbers at renewal time: friendships formed, participation, isolation risk trending down, families telling other families.
Free for founding pilot communities. We’re trading software for honesty.
Apply for the founding pilotYour mom taps nothing. You sign in and click her face. That’s the entire instruction manual: no app to install, nothing to configure, and it works in any browser on any phone or computer.
Ask the care team at her community to add your email to her approved contacts, then sign in with Google, a password, or an emailed link, the same way you sign in to anything.
Family sign inOur promises
No AI companions pretending to care. Kinectyd connects your residents to actual people, the friend in room 214, the granddaughter two time zones away.
No gig workers, no strangers in rooms. Every single contact is approved by your staff before a resident can ever see their face.
Never recorded, never transcribed, never mined. What a resident says to her friend stays between them. It’s not a setting, it’s a rule we can’t break.
In published nursing-home studies, five minutes of video connection a week measurably reduced loneliness, with effects lasting a full year. Kinectyd measures the same way science does, with the UCLA-3 scale.
Limited to 2–3 communities
We’re selecting 2–3 assisted living communities (30–80 residents) as founding partners.
That’s the point of Kinectyd. Residents never see a username, password, menu, or setting. The screen is one face and one button, and staff can turn on auto-answer so calls from approved people connect by themselves after a gentle countdown. If a resident can look at a photo, they can use Kinectyd.
Setup is one CSV upload and an afternoon of handing out tablets. After that Kinectyd runs itself: introductions take one tap, risk scoring is automatic every night, and your team gets one actionable email at 8 AM.
Kinectyd’s default mode was designed for cognitive impairment first: one action per screen, full-screen calls, repetition treated as normal, and auto-answer with consent. Families of memory-care residents are often the most grateful users.
Founding pilots pay nothing. After that, Kinectyd is priced per community by resident count, designed to cost less than one month’s rent from a single retained resident per year.
On the roadmap. Phase one deliberately needs no integration at all, a CSV export from any system onboards your whole community.

For elders anywhere
Not every elder lives in a community. Kinectyd at Home brings the same one-button calls to seniors living on their own: a screen of familiar faces, family a tap away, and gentle introductions to peers who share their interests.
